We were both delighted with Worton Hall as our wedding venue and the day was everything that we could have wished for and more. The hall and the hayloft gallery are stunning and our guests loved being able to attend the whole wedding in one place. The huge stone floor was perfect for ceilidh dancing and we loved that the room is simple but beautifully elegant. It was wonderful to be able to stay on site the night before in the amazing farmhouse and stable cottage accommodation. This gave an extra special touch to the whole weekend. We would thoroughly recommend Worton Hall as a wedding venue.

Wonderful venue, plenty of space without feeling cavernous. Beautiful interior and we had lots of freedom to decorate and really make it feel like our own. Lovely touches like hurricane lanterns down the aisle and indoor trees made it feel so cosy. The team were really helpful, friendly, and accommodating, and things ran perfectly on the day. Couldn't have asked for better, Worton Hall was perfect for us.

We had our wedding at Worton Hall and it was an absolutely amazing venue, we would definitely recommend it. The hall itself is really spacious and beautiful in a simple way, which allowed us to decorate it just as we wanted. The wedding coordinator we worked with (Lucy) was brilliant, she went out of her way to allow us to plan exactly what we wanted for the day and helped us where necessary. Worton Hall recommended caterers (Greens) who were excellent. Worton Hall also has a beautiful large farm house next to wedding barn we were able to rent to accommodate the wedding party for the weekend, which was lovely.

We have just returned from a break away after the wedding which was great to just relax & reflect on the lovely day! We were on a high after it all & now it seems strange being home with it all over. Looking forward to seeing all the photos now!! The day was just fantastic it all went so well & everyone we have spoken to have commented on how much they enjoyed it all. The weather didn’t really spoil anything because Alicia & Ryan got the photos they wanted I think and they do indeed look amazing & the video!! It would have been fab to use the garden more for other photos but it was fine! Many thanks for helping to make it a day to remember & the venue was just wonderful along with the farmhouse which is just amazing & we had such a great time with family & friends there. It made everything so much easier to be in one place on the morning of the wedding & so much more room than at home! It meant we could get some lovely photos in the beautiful farmhouse on the morning! Thanks again to you & Lucy & all the staff. Everyone was very helpful & thanks for all your help before & on the day itself! So many comments about the Hall & how nice it was!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This is Mehvish and Shane, and we are writing to thank you for hosting our wedding in your beautiful venue. We truly cannot thank you enough for your efforts, your professionalism, your willingness to go the extra mile for us, and of course, your calm whenever we were panicking! We could not have done this without you, and now we cannot imagine that we could have been married anywhere else.

It goes without saying that Worton Hall is beautiful, and set in the most idyllic of grounds (we knew as soon as we saw the hall that this was the place) but what we learned over the course of the last few months is that that real treasure is the staff (especially Catherine!) who despite our constant worrying and emailing handled every request with positivity and ease, and who soothed our troubled minds.

The set up happened so smoothly, our suppliers were facilitated with ease, the signage was lovely; Worton Hall is a dream to work with. Feeling in such good hands didn’t just make our preparations easier; it made our day better.

All of our guests loved the venue, and you already know that another wedding was booked by a family friend because she saw how wonderful it all is! Thank you for making this most important of days for us so easy and so perfect. We feel blessed to have had our wedding at Worton Hall.

Worton park is a stunning venue it really did make our perfect day, the venue is spacious and the grounds are beautiful. The Farmhouse cottage is surreal; myself and my bridal party on the Friday night had a wonderful time relaxing in the extremely spacious and stunning cottage and the guests enjoyed drinks in the garden. waking up to the beautiful view of the lake and grounds was out of this world I would recommend the venue and cottage to everyone, it was a day to remember, thank you Worton Park.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception at Worton Hall in October 2015. Catherine, Hannah and the team were absolutely fantastic in helping us make a day to remember. All the ideas we had were welcomed and embraced! Hannah happily (and quietly!) converted the Gallery from a wedding ceremony to a silent disco area during our wedding breakfast, whilst Catherine took control of our multiple musical requests and ensured our evening lighting was suitable for a party (multi-coloured uplighting!)

The bar staff were attentive, making sure no one had an empty glass during the drinks reception. We had the constant feeling that there was always someone “there” but without being overpowered by event managers and staff. One particular example was that we put a quiz on the dining tables but didn’t provide pens. Before we even noticed this, we spotted Catherine walking around the tables with a box of pencils. The venue itself was fantastic, as we’ve been to many weddings before where it’s felt like you’re constantly being shuffled into another room whilst the main room is being set up for the ceremony/wedding breakfast/disco. With Worton Hall being one large room, it meant that the whole congregation were together all night (instead of hiding in separate rooms/bars like at other venues) which made it feel intimate, yet it wasn’t crowded at all. The acoustics of the rooms were great too, as we still found that there were quieter areas, mainly around the bar, where people could have a chat and catch up whilst music was playing on the dance floor.

The service, coupled with the beautiful hall and surroundings really made our day unforgettable. We’ve had so many guests says what an amazing venue Worton Hall was. We feel very lucky to have found a venue that was so beautiful (despite the rain outside – perfect for an autumn wedding!) with gorgeous cottages to stay onsite, meaning our wedding was a weekend event rather than just one day and would thoroughly recommend it to anyone looking to get married!

We'd just like to thank everyone at Worton Park for helping us make our wedding the best day of our lives so far. From the first time we stepped into Worton Hall even before it was renovated, we knew that we wanted to celebrate our day there instantly. Worton Hall really is beautiful, peaceful and welcoming and every guest we've spoken to has commented on how perfect the setting was for the wedding reception and we couldn't agree more. A lot of hard work went into getting the venue ready to hold our reception and the day itself went so smoothly - Bev and her team helped to ensure it was a perfect day for us and our guests and it was! Also a big thank you to Oxford Thyme caterers who supplied a beautiful meal. Thank you for helping us create what our guests called the Wedding of the Year.
