What an exciting year it has been at Worton Hall! Unforgettable weddings, spectacular celebrations, and productive corporate events, wedding fairs, networking events, awards ceremonies and styled shoots have filled a busy year. It’s been a joy to host and be a part of so many different events and meet so many amazing people.
It’s also been a big year for the venue as we’ve launched, changed and improved our offering including the introduction of this years Christmas Party Package. We have also renovated our wedding accommodation, created a brand new blogs page full of wedding inspiration, and lots more.
Here’s a look back at some of our favourite highlights...
Event Highlights:
When you’ve hosted so many events, there are bound to be some great highlights. This year was the first year we’ve had a horse at a wedding, had a corporate away day with puppy therapy, and a country-themed Christmas party! Our first wedding of the year at the start of January embraced the Christmas theme and took full advantage of the Worton Hall Christmas tree, whilst adding extra Christmas décor such as golden cherries and gold ornamental floral arrangements to create a beautiful look.
We’ve enjoyed months of stunning weather as well during 2025, meaning more garden ceremonies and wedding receptions outside. We also loved seeing seasonal favourites like ice cream vans and outdoor BBQ caterers.

These include…Winning not one, but two wedding industry awards from Guides for Brides and Hitched, hosting and attending successful wedding fairs & showcases, hosting our first styled shoot – a day filled with gorgeous suppliers and so much inspiration!...and the list goes on! Wedding Fairs
We started the year strong by partnering with Guides for Brides in February to host a successful wedding fair here at Worton Hall. It was wonderful to meet so many different couples all at different stages of their wedding journey. Speaking to those just recently engaged, looking for their dream venue, to couples who have already booked with us taking the opportunity to find their last few suppliers or showing their family and friends the venue before the big day. It was also great to meet some fantastic suppliers we haven't met before!
Then in September we hosted our very own Wedding Fair which we love doing. The Worton Hall Wedding Fair returned after another successful year in 2024. The hall was packed full of amazing hand-picked suppliers to ensure couples are finding high-quality suppliers. Some highlights included dazzling magic tricks from Robert Bone, delicious ice cream from Polly’s Ice Cream Parlour, and beautiful tablescapes collaborated on by our events team, Millie Miles Event Hire, and Classic Flowers Witney.
Awards
We were incredibly honoured to be nominated in the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards and even more thrilled to take home the Highly Commended Award for Best Unique Wedding Venue. Attending the awards ceremony in March was a heart-warming reminder of the hard work and passion our team pours into every event. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us!
The venue also won a Hitched award dedicated to the outstanding service we offer couples throughout their wedding journey. We were honoured to win such an award.
Styled Shoots
This year we also decided to mix things up a bit by hosting not one, but two styled shoots.
For our first shoot, we chose Bridgerton and Country theming as these were popular and growing trends we’ve noticed.
For the Bridgerton theme, we focused on soft pastel blues, pinks, and whites for the colour scheme imprinted on incredible floral displays like flower arches and centrepieces. We also focused on regency touches with a graceful bridal gown paired with a handmade pearl necklace, adding just the right hint of period romance. All while the gentle sound of a harp wrapped the scene in a serene, atmospheric hush. You can read all about it using the link here.
Our second theme was focused on a country theme; we leaned into a rustic aesthetic with warm, earthy tones, a garden ceremony beneath the wooden pagoda, a dried flower bouquet, and a short dress paired with western-style boots. The sun shimmering off the disco balls really brought a playful sparkle to the scene! The knot was tied with celebratory shots, raising their glasses before smashing them!
We hosted our second styled shoot just last month, collaborating with the Styled Shoot Series. The theme was Timeless Elegance, focusing on luxury and a black, white, and gold colour scheme. We can’t wait to reveal more soon.
Wedding Acommodation Renovations:
In April, we were excited to reopen The Farmhouse after its 6-month renovation project! The property underwent significant changes, with the old conservatory being renovated into a stunning orangery and the bathrooms having a complete modernisation and makeover. The house was also received new furnishings in every room, the upstairs being completely carpeted and the living spaces being fitted with new sofas and furniture.
Stable Cottage also went under some major TLC with upgraded furniture and a new coat of paint, giving the house a fresher more homely, even more romantic feel.
New Corporate and Christmas Party Packages
This year we also launched a brand new corporate package which includes the option to add catering from one of our recommended suppliers, Greens Catering and Elegant Cuisine. We also brought back the Farmhouse boardroom as a meeting space following the property's renovation with a new table. Whether hosting meetings, away days, or team celebrations, the package makes planning seamless and stress-free.
We also introduced our new Christmas Party Package, designed to make festive celebrations effortless and memorable. The package includes exclusive hire, catering by Greens Catering, a DJ, and a range of optional extras like photobooths.
Final Thoughts:
As we wrap up an incredible year at Worton Hall, we can’t help but feel grateful for every couple, company, supplier, and guest who walked through our doors in 2025. Each event has reminded us why we love what we do, creating unforgettable experiences and celebrating life’s most meaningful moments with you.
With refreshed spaces, new packages, and an ever-growing community of wonderful people, we’re heading into 2026 feeling energised, inspired, and ready for even more magic. We can’t wait to welcome 2026 brides and groom, new couples beginning their journey, returning clients planning their next big event, and fresh ideas that will shape another remarkable year.
