Regency Romance: Grand decor and pastel colours combined in our Bridgerton themed styled shoot

Last May, we really went all out on our styled shoot. Royal weddings always stun, and with Bridgerton style weddings becoming more and more popular, we couldn’t resist planning an elaborate, grand wedding of our own.

The shoot started with those ever desired getting ready shots. We absolutely loved the elegant jewellery from Zafir Design, which added that perfect royal touch. Zafir specialises in handmade, bespoke jewellery to fit the wearer to a tee and she really delivered for the styled shoot. The pearls were a fantastic choice being synonymous with purity and glamour really fitting the theme. The drop earrings were personal favourites of ours.

And who could forget about the dress from Rasha Kashou which could have been taken straight from a scene in the show! The hand-crafted additional pearl neck piece really completed this gown. The look was then perfectly pulled together by Beth Ansell’s amazing hair and make up work.

We’re always looking for the perfect colour match and the Cotswold Tailor really delivered in the suit department which complimented the dress and style so well.

Another key element we were keen to get right was the colour scheme and big floral displays. The pure brilliant white chair sashes guided our eyes down the isle to the large floral arches from Hire Heaven which we’ve seen soar in popularity. The pastel pinks, whites and regency blues really brought the Bridgerton theme to life.

A beautiful serenade from Jill Reynolds harp was the perfect finishing touch to an incredible ceremony and space. A harp may not be our first thought when planning a wedding but Jill creates such a wonderful atmosphere playing classic as well as current pop instrumentally.

The ceremony was beautifully conducted by Bluebell Ceremonies, an independent celebrant. One especially memorable detail was the intertwined arms toast which symbolises unity, trust, and togetherness which added a meaningful and romantic touch to the occasion.

The reception and dining shots were also composed so well. The pastel colour scheme continued with the raised centrepieces and beautiful chair sashes. The tableware was another element we really wanted to get right and I think we succeeded with the gold hued plates and glassware from Millie Miles. The florals turned out to be a perfect frame for the pure white cake from Cakes of Curiosity.

This also extended to the finer elements like the stationary which were perfectly composed by Lauren Daisy. The pastel colours and hand written typography really shone in the lay flat and tablescape shots.

Speaking of the shots, Lara Jacques Photography and Trebor Productions captured the day so well bringing so many of our spaces to life. The best part of organising a styled shoot is we can really focus on showcasing certain areas or elements. A few of those special shots included the walk up the staircase to our ceremony space, portraits in front of the willow and some amazing getting ready shots in Stable Cottage.

And a final thank you to Jade and Joe who had their “second wedding” at Worton Hall. It’s quite rare to find an actual couple for a styled shoot but it was so special and their chemistry was unmatched.

We hope our styled shoot provides the perfect inspiration for your special day! For more, check out our new Pinterest board with all the shots from our Bridgerton themed shoot here. Watch this space for our other themed styled shoot coming soon!
